Tim Grimes Chairs of Western Region of the CLLA
Tim Grimes, the BARR Credit Services Legal Liaison, has recently been elected Chair of the Western Region for the Commercial Law League of America (CLLA).
This position comes to Tim after a group of his CLLA peers voted him into office because of his continued participation, his motivated attitude, and his results oriented work ethic, as noted by the league.
Tim is an active member of multiple committees. With his longtime commitment to the collection industry, earning the chair position was the natural next step towards gaining a leadership role within the league.
As Chair, Tim has taken on some new innovative responsibilities. Every month the executive council of the western region meet. Tim will be focusing on brainstorming on how to execute new recruitment and retention strategies in a collaborative format. With the bottom line being to continuously improve the value and functionality of the CLLA.
Future Plans Include an Agency Seat on the Board of Governors
Come mid-2018, Tim plans to run for an “agency” seat on the CLLA Board of Governors. If elected, being a member of the board will provide him with the opportunity to participate in major decisions affecting the league. Including the opportunity to influence the working practices between the CLLA and collection agencies in all 4 CLLA regions.
From a BARR perspective, Tim Grimes engagement within the collections and legal environment has assisted BARR Credit Services in being recognized as a differentiator. For many years BARR employees have volunteered for leadership positions in the CLLA and partner organizations. Our commitment to participating in improving our industry remains strong. We are proud that BARR employees are ambitious industry pioneers. We will continue to work diligently to create a better working environment for all those within the credit and collections industry.
